About BJ Boyer

Education was always my dream.

Being one of eight children, (and a military brat) we got a lot of practice on each other’s hair. In 1971, I made a career change from teaching 4th graders to going to Beauty School. My family thought I was crazy; however, it has been a wonderful occupation change for me.

Education was always my dream and in 1976 I received my credentials to instruct Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, and Nails. I attend Church for All Nations in Parkland and have been a member since 1990. In 1995 I was part founder and currently director of Westside Community Bank located in University Place, Parkland and downtown Puyallup.
